"Helio-Lux" Antique Violet Wand Set

14 Electrode Set form 1920's Germany

We are pleased to offer this nicely presented Helio-Lux 14 electrode set for sale.

With a great suite of functioning electrodes, it will be an an asset to a collector or enthusiast.

Presented in its original black case, showing the bumps and scrapes of it's nearly 100 year life, it has a nice patina , has its original purple velvet in nice condition and has been cleaned and preserved.

Electrically, it has been fitted with new cables and plugs, reinsulated where necessary, had components replaced with modern componentry where necessary and has been extensively test run and tuned to reasonably high output level.

Its suite of electrodes are all fully functional and tested and include:

Single eye electrode
Comb electrode
Insulated ear electrode
Nipple electrode
Spine electrode
Gum point electrode
Knife electrode
Medium Mushroom electrode
Ball tip electrode
Cautery electrode
Metal rod electrode
Rectal electrode
Throat electrode
Test electrode (Neon)

Neon electrodes glow orange.
We do not recommend use of any metal electrode without using a spark gap for safety and include in this kit only for historical completeness.

The machine itself has rheostat controlled output , which adjusts from zero to reasonably high.

(For the uninitiated, "reasonably high" will 4 or 5 times the output of "Neon" or "Zeus" solid state wand.

This machine is the best part of a century old, and should be treated accordingly. If used sensibly it will provide many more years of use. Duty cycles are best kept at around 10 minutes on/10 minutes off when running at higher power to ensure longevity and continued enjoyment of this piece of working history.
